Dream Theater’s JAMES LABRIE gibt Details zu seinem neuen Soloalbum “Static Impulse” bekannt
Dream Theater’s JAMES LABRIE ist mit Sicherheit einer der weltweit begabtesten Sänger der Musiker-Elite. Nach mehr als einer Million verkauften Alben fordert sich JAMES nun mit einem neuen aggressiven und dynamischem Soloalbum erneut selbst heraus. Das langerwartete neue Album “Static Impulse” setzt nach fünf Jahren einen neuen Meilenstein in der Solokarriere des Sängers James Labrie und wird seine “DieHard” Fans begeistern und zeitgleich viele neue Fans dazu gewinnen.
Auf “Static Impulse” wirken neben James Labries sehr talentiertem und langjährigem Keyboarder und Songwritingpartner Matt Guillory zudem Peter Wildoer von den Metaltitanen DARKANE (Drums und Screaming Vocals), Gitarrist Marco Sfogli und Bassist Ray Riendeau mit. Für Mix und Mastering hat sich kein Geringerer als Jens Borgen (Opeth, Katatonia) verantwortlich gezeigt. “Static Impulse” wird am 24.09.2010 über InsideOut Music veröffentlicht.
James Labrie kommentiert: “Hi everyone. The release of Static Impulse is one that the whole band is psyched about. This is modern Metal and as heavy and relevant as any other band out there going in a similar musical direction. There are riffs that will blow your head off and melodies both musically and vocally that are hypnotic. Get in the driver’s seat and let the ears bleed. Enjoy and see you out there with a tour to follow up and support this release.”
Des Weiteren verkündet Matt Guillory: “One year and two months in the making and we're finally done. I'm really pleased with the way this record came out. James sounds fantastic, as well as the rest of the guys. Without a doubt, it's our heaviest record thus far yet at the same time, it's also our most melodic. I can't wait for everyone to hear it.”
Zusätzlich zu den vielen Dream Theater Studio- und Livealben, wirkt JAMES LABRIE unter anderem auf Veröffentlichungen von Fates Warning, Redemption, Trent Gardner's Explorer's Club, Leonardo The Absolute Man, Frameshift, Ayreon's The Human Equation, sowie auf den Tributealben für Rush, Emerson Lake & Palmer und Queen mit.
